Landscape Engineering at LeeMcCullough
At LeeMcCullough we offer a comprehensive range of services for Landscape Projects of all sizes. We have gained extensive experience working with landscape architects and developers on a wide range of modern and historic projects.
As structural engineers, we have devised a variety of solutions for stabilising slopes and retaining banks of soil. From RC retaining walls to reinforced earth, the solutions are carefully selected to suit the project.
We have designed a wide range of water-retaining structures. From shallow water features to deep swimming pools, the structures are carefully detailed to allow for diverse cast-in services such as pumping, chemical dosing and decorative lighting.
We are experienced at working on challenging sites, where traditional forms of construction are not always compatible with ground conditions or archaeologically sensitive areas. As civil engineers, we are innovative in our approach to the challenges, and have successfully designed a wide range of cost effective solutions.
Our skills also extend to ground improvement and site drainage. We are conversant with the myriad requirements of local authorities with respect to Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), and routinely design stormwater drainage systems to meet their exacting standards.
We have a wide range of experience in geotechnical engineer ing, including the formulation and interpretation of site investigations, the as ses sment of ground contamination, the improvement of ground bearing capacity by geogrids and geotextiles, and the improvement of land drainage using filter drains, french drains, perforated pipes and soakaways.
We are experienced in the structural assessment and repair of historic follies and garden monuments, and the design of modern structures.
